Novastart

Novastart is an infinite-canvas operating system where every application becomes a window on one endless surface. Instead of switching between tabs and desktops, you zoom out to see everything at once and zoom in to work on any window. Workspaces are saved and restored — one for finances, one for a wedding, one for work — each holding its own apps, positions, and tabs. The pitch is simple: your work should never run out of room.

The AI agent layer is the more unusual part. Agents get their own visible cursors on the canvas, so you can watch them work rather than guessing what they're doing behind a chat window. One lead agent splits a job across helpers, opens a window for each part, and reports back into its own chat. You can pause mid-run, type a correction, or take any window back from an agent. A separate verification step checks results before a job is marked complete. The same canvas supports team collaboration on the $20/mo plan: every person gets their own cursor, you can drive a teammate's apps as if they were yours, and chat lives directly on the OS rather than in a side app.
